Ian Jennings

Ian Jennings has been building creator tools, communities, and experiences for more than 10 years.

He co-founded the hackathon organization platform Hacker League (acquired by Mashery and Intel) before spending 6 years at PubNub growing developer relations and developer experience.

Ian currently operates DevPort, a developer portfolio site with thousands of developers.

While at PubNub, he designed, prototyped, and launched software products including PubNub ChatEngine, a framework for building chat applications, and Project EON, a library for creating real-time maps and charts.

He also lead the creation of the PubNub CLI, the PubNub Chrome Extension, the PubNub Community Forums, and many, many, pieces of technical marketing content.

Ian is a member of the ATX Hackerspace, DadaGeek technical art community, and volunteers at the Thinkery, a children’s STEM museum in Austin.

  • June 2019 – No-code Product 1 (Airtable, Google Docs)
  • September 2019 – No-code Product 2 (Knack.com, Spp.co)
