Our developer experience studies are designed to be somewhat exploratory. They will, however, also gather assessment data regarding whether you provide a positive or negative developer experience. During the course of the test, we collect data about error and success rates based on a set of predefined benchmarks. Along with this, we gather a wide range of qualitative data surrounding participants’ experiences.

Between-Subjects Design

In a between-subjects study, each participant will work through one assigned task path. We start with 5 individual 1-hour developer experience study sessions. Participants will receive written instructions on how to complete their task. We then record the results of each test, and provide a report of their experiences.
